1. Mudumalai National Park

Mudumalai National Park, which is also admitted as Tiger Reserve, is India’s first wildlife sanctuary. There are also tigers, leopards, striped hyenas, dholes, sloth bears, Asian elephants, and Golden Jackals to be seen as well as it connects the Eastern and Western Ghats. The Moyar River runs through the reserve, and you can expect to see a wide range of wildlife seeking freshwater there. 2. Dolphinโ€™s Nose

There is a rock that resembles the appearance of a dolphin’s nose, hence it’s called Dolphin’s Nose View Point. It is a major tourist attraction in Coonoor. It is 12 kilometers from the city of Coonoor and the Tiger Hills are nearby. St.Catherine Falls, which is located on the summit site, may be seen from this viewpoint. From here, you can also see the Coonoor River. Greenery and a jumble of treetops covered the deep forest valleys.

3. Simโ€™s Park

Sim’s Park is one of the nicest and most recommended spots to visit in Coonoor. The Rudraksh or beed tree, Cinnamomum (famous for producing fragrance oils in their leaves and bark), and Queensland karry pine, which is an ornamental tree, are among the garden’s most beautiful varieties of plants. 4. Avalanche Lake

Avalanche is known for its avalanche lake and sanctuary. One of Ooty’s most popular tourist attractions is Avalanche Lake. 5. Doddabetta Peak

The Nilgiris have a total of 24 higher peaks, the highest of which is Doddabetta.
