1. TNAU Botanical Garden
The TNAU Botanical Garden, located in Coimbatore, was founded in 1925 and houses a wide variety of exotic trees, flowers, and plants. The botanical garden, which is located on the premises of the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, is a great site to learn about different herbs, shrubs, and medicinal plants.

2. VOC Park and Zoo
VOC Park & Zoo is an entertainment park that is known not just for its botanical garden as well as for its V.O.Chidambaranar Park. Tourists and locals alike visit the park for leisure time, such as spending the day or picnicking with friends and family. The children will be introduced to the animals, and they can play while watching the aquarium. Not to mention Jurassic Park, where not only children but even adults may have a great time. There are almost 500 different animals and 30 different types of mammals, reptiles, and birds.

4. Nilgiri Biosphere Nature Park
The Nilgiri Biosphere Nature Park is a great initiative by the Tamil Nadu government to protect the Nilgiri Mountain Range’s exotic and rich flora and fauna. The park, first established in 1936, is home to over 430 types of trees and plants, as well as several reptiles, birds, and mammals. The park also has a variety of rare flowers. Nearly 20% of the species in the Nilgiri Biosphere Nature Park are endangered in the wild, which is an interesting fact. Botanical Garden Conservation International (BGCI) in the United Kingdom and the National Botanical Research Institute (NBRI) in India have both recognized the park’s amazing collection of endangered plant species.

5. Amaravathi Sagar Crocodile Park
The Amaravati Sagar Crocodile Farm is a slightly different kind of park. With approximately 430 crocodiles in captivity, this is one of India’s largest crocodile nurseries. This crocodile park first officially opened in 1975, and since then, it has grown to include a huge number of adult-sized crocodiles from exotic species such as Marsh, Persian, and Mugger crocodiles. To ensure the species’ massive increase, these species are bred in-house. Many wild crocodile nests can be found along the reservoir’s edge. Crocodile eggs are collected here and hatched, after which they are reared at the park. Visitors to this farm, however, must take extra precautions because some of the crocodiles are dangerous.
